My PP's display the following (P 0 for example) next to the horse's name.

REKHA DIAMOND (P 0)

Am assuming these are a running style and speed count for the horse, but am wondering which one?

Is the running style the HDW running style or some other?

Is the number the QSpd from the program or the HDW rank of speed to first 1/4 that they talk about in relation to their running style designation on their website? If not the HDW number, where might that be displayed?

Thanks,
Joe M

It's Run Style and QSpeedPoints.

If you are using a Brisnet file to generate the report - then it's Run Style and QSpeedPoints as they exist in the Brisnet data for that horse.

If you are using HDW data to generate the report - then it's HDW Run Style and QSpeedPoints (which is calculated by a JCapper algorithm that I wrote) as read from the .JCP file for that horse.

You asked about: "HDW rank of speed to first 1/4 that they talk about in relation to their running style designation on their website"

The replication of that in JCapper is the horse's E1 (or first fraction) HDW pace fig from its most recent running line.

Another close replication of that in JCapper is the factor called V1 on the supported factors page at JCapper.com
